Chicken Cacciatore Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C marinara sauce
- 1/2-1C thin sliced onions
- 1/4 C tomato paste
- 1/4 C water
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 8-10 oz mushrooms half or quartered
- 8 chicken thighs wo skin
- Mix all ingredients in slow cooker.
- Add chicken, stir to coat
- Cook covered on high 2 1/2-3 1/2 hrs or 5-8 hrs on low
Chickpea Cacciatore
- Same as above recipe, except switch the chicken thighs for a can of rinsed and drained chickpeas.
